Successful Crayfish Celebartion and Fundraiser!

-SACC-Seattle held their first Crayfish Celebration and Fundraiser since 2004. This time the event was co-hosted with the Swedish Cultural Center in Seattle.

Seattle, September 7, 2007 – More than 100 people attended SACC-Seattle’s first Crayfish Celebration and Fundraiser in years. The venue was the Swedish Cultural Center with a beautiful view over Lake Union.

At check in guests received a wolf paw drink, also known in Sweden as Vargtass. After mingling and eating hors d’oeuvre the Treasurer of SACC-Seattle, Deanna Zachrisson welcomed everyone.

The attendees enjoyed a delicious Swedish traditional buffet and sang Swedish snaps songs. The crayfishes and the dessert were sponsored by IKEA. After dinner the guests danced to everything from Abba to the Ark.

Over 20 companies donated to SACC-Seattle’s silent auction, with items ranging from airfare tickets to dinners and personal training. Guests could bid the entire evening on the popular fundraising items.

Main sponsors for this event were Stellar Holdings, SAS and IKEA. SACC Seattle’s next event is the December Member brunch.
